Just months after Peppa Pig announced a new addition to the family, a new plot twist has been revealed for the popular kids TV show.
In a new storyline in the name of inclusivity, Peppa’s younger brother George is diagnosed as moderately deaf.
Hasbro, the brand behind the British series, continues to champion stories that reflect real children and families, bringing representation to preschool audiences.
New season 11 episodes of Peppa Pig, coming soon to ABC Kids, will see George diagnosed with deafness in an episode called Hearing Test, where his family learns the toddler has moderate hearing loss.
