A Perth tradie has come forward to claim the $2.5 million Lotto ticket from Saturday night’s draw.
The man in his 50s got the surprise of his life, saying he rarely buys Lotto tickets.
“I don’t buy tickets all the time, but I always get them from Busy Bee (newsagency),” he said.
In a twist of fate, the house he’s renting has just been put on the market, so he plans to use his winnings to purchase his current home.
