Perth influencers gather for Michael Jackson film premiere

The new Michael Jackson movie has left the globe divided after its premiere received mostly negative reviews, but Perth fans were left thrilled after a screening at Karrinyup.
Hoyts Karrinyup came alive with the spirit of the music icon as fans dressed up in Jackson-esque outfits for the premiere of Michael.
While some Perth moviegoers raved about the film that was originally set for release in 2025, not everyone enjoyed the two hour experience with The Nightly’s Wenlei Ma calling it “unwatchable”.
“Even divorced from the accusations that would dog his later life, as a piece of cinema, Michael is so awful at times, you risk physically collapsing into yourself from all the cringing,” she wrote.
