‘Not sinking’: Mystery capsized boat draws attention

A boat in the Peel Estuary has repeatedly caught the public’s attention, so much so that the WA Police Force has asked people to stop reporting it.
The vessel named Blue Water was spotted south of Mandurah and reported to police multiple times as a capsized boat.
“We kindly ask the public not to report this specific boat, as repeated calls require officers to respond under priority conditions until the vessel can be confirmed on arrival,” Mandurah District WA Police Force said on social media.
A spokesperson said it could take a few more weeks to have the boat removed but it was not in any danger.
