‘My nipple was out’: Artist stuns in raw, medieval spectacle

Chappell Roan’s medieval fairytale vision came alive on stage at Laneway Festival on Sunday in the form of camp, feminine energy as she performed her greatest pop hits.
Thousands of excited fans wearing pink cowgirl hats huddled together in front of Arena Joondalup’s main stage as they waited for the singing sensation’s concert to begin just before 9pm.
The suspense in the air was electric as all eyes focused on the giant gothic castle set on stage, and after some flashing green lights and smoke, the decorated pop star emerged to a screaming crowd.
The 27-year-old, born Kayleigh Rose Amstutz, looked flawless in a pirate-like red and black Elizabethan outfit with a modern twist.
