Megan Thee Stallion has said she was given a “wake-up call” after being taken to hospital mid-performance during her Broadway run in Moulin Rouge! The Musical.
The singer, 31, who is currently appearing in the role of Zidler in the production at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre, was rushed to hospital on Tuesday after falling ill shortly after the opening scenes of the show.
A spokesperson told the Daily Mail she had experienced “concerning symptoms” and was later diagnosed with extreme exhaustion, dehydration, vasoconstriction and low metabolic levels.
Megan has now said on Instagram: “Last night was a real wake-up call for me. I’ve been pushing myself past my limits lately, running on empty, and my body finally said enough. It honestly scared me.”
