Infamous WA pub to close doors for good after 12 years

After more than a decade, Mandurah’s Monkey Bay is off to the great jungle in the sky.
The popular pub on Pinjarra Road said last drinks on Friday after its owner decided to close its doors permanently.
About seven staff will be out of a job as a result of the closure, but all were supportive of the decision.
Venue manager Carrie Salter said she was going to miss the team, calling them a “second family”.
