When I’m wrong, I’ll say it.
Far from furiously arguing a point I have learnt is incorrect, I freely admit my mistakes and get on with the job.
A few weeks ago, when Kylie Minogue kicked off her Tension tour in Perth, I was scrolling Instagram and came across quite a few lacklusture reviews on her page. I floated the idea for a story with my editor, then I wrote it up.
The complaints appeared to come from young people who seemed out of sorts with a “graphic” or a “chair” they didn’t like in the show. Looking back, it might say more about young adults nowadays than Kylie.
