West Coast speedster Jayden Hunt wants to let his football do the talking early in the season before ramping up conversations to extend his stay at the Eagles.
It comes as several youngsters have emerged this pre-season for spots on the wing, where 29-year-old Hunt has established himself as a mainstay in 43 games for the club.
Hunt’s three-year deal he signed to cross to West Coast from Melbourne as a free agent in 2022 ends this year, but the Victorian isn’t in a rush to put pen to paper.
“I want to focus on my footy at the start of the season and then I can get into talks after that,” he said.
