‘Horrified’: Outrage erupts over Kimmel suspension

Jimmy Kimmel, a staple of late-night TV in the United States, has further split a divided nation after making comments regarding the killing of Charlie Kirk.
In his Monday monologue, Kimmel said: “We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterise this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it.”
He went on to criticise US President Donald Trump’s reaction to Kirk’s death, saying he was grieving like a “four-year-old” who lost their goldfish.
