Glitz and glam as Wildcats stars celebrate awards night
By Craig O'Donoghue
Perth Wildcats fans packed into Crown Ballroom on Saturday night to celebrate their season and pay tribute to import Kristian Doolittle after he won the Gordon Ellis Medal as their Most Valuable Player.
Jesse Wagstaff, David Okwera and Tom Gerovich also won awards as the club took advantage of their break before the NBL finals.
Doolittle’s win marks a new era for the Wildcats.
Bryce Cotton, who left for Adelaide 36ers in a bombshell move in the off-season, had won the award seven times since he arrived at the club in 2017.
