There’s nothing like a club CEO standing on stage at the best-and-fairest function in front of players, coaches, fans and sponsors to set the agenda for the following season.
Fremantle boss Simon Garlick didn’t mince his words. He didn’t skirt the issue. Garlick drew a line in the sand for 2025 and declared the Dockers must succeed.
“It is important we be clear. The talk of our youth and the build and the sustained success and contention being a mythical place in the future is done. The time for us is now,” Garlick said.
