Consumer price inflation outpaced pay packets growth in the last quarter for the first time in two years, the latest official wages growth figures show.
Wage data put out by the Australian Bureau of Statistics on Wednesday showed the wage price index grew 0.8 per cent in the December quarter, in line with expectations.
