Aussie father drops $150k on first Super Bowl experience

An Australian has spent a staggering amount for his family to attend their first Super Bowl.

In an interview with an NBC reporter that has gone viral on social media, a Melbourne father revealed that he had forked out an eye-watering $150,000 to get his family of five to Levi Stadium in California for the game.

Wearing a Patriots t-shirt, the fan told the TV reporter: “Tickets cost a fortune, right. So coming from Australia I reckon I spent $150,000. There’s five of us so tickets were 80 grand, $80,000 Australian.”
